Kimberly Reynolds Rush is a contributing writer for Suite101.com. She is a Ph.D. candidate for British History at Louisiana State University. She received a Master of Arts degree in British history from LSU. She concentrated on the Tudor/Stuart period. Her thesis, "All the World's a Stage: Pageantry as Propaganda at the Court of Elizabeth I, 1558-1569," was completed in December 2006. Since graduating, she has taught courses in Western civilization, world civilization, and American history at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, American Public University, Ozarka College, Colorado Technical University, ITT Technical College, and Southeastern Louisiana University. Her first book, Historic Photos of Little Rock, was published in June 2009.

Kim received a Bachelor of Science in dance management from Oklahoma City University. She has danced for over 20 years and has taught tap, ballet, jazz, and clogging for nearly 15 years.
